Welcome to a mini-tutorial of how to pimp your pegboard! I just moved into a new house and was trying to figure out how I was going to organize all of my crap and I came across these pegboards at Michael’s. I was going to just hang them up plain but then wondered if I could somehow make a pegboard cute and this is what I came up with!
I covered the pegboard hole section with 12”x12” scrapbook paper using an acid-free glue stick. I smoothed out the glue using a bone folder (a credit card would work as well). Then, I poked through the paper to expose the holes using a chopstick which fit perfectly! It was super easy and fun! You could also paint the pegboard and then apply any decorative paper to the pegboard. On one of my pegboards I used my Washi tape to make a decorative border around the perimeter.
I love how all of my thread fits perfectly onto the hooks and I think it looks really cute!
